Mason Cantey, a native of Lake City, South Carolina, has been pastor of Cherokee Springs UMC since June 28, 2020. He and his wife, Maggie, come to us from Wilmore, Kentucky where they spent four years in seminary together. They have a pet Boykin Spaniel at home, named Laurel, and have a little one on the way, due in August! Mason is a graduate of Wofford College, where he majored in Religion and Spanish, and Asbury Theological Seminary, where he earned his Master of Divinity. He enjoys camping, cooking, baking, woodworking, guitar, singing, stained glass, and gardening.
