Sermon September 18, 2016 “Why is The Body Not Perfect?”

Guest Preacher Steven McNeal.

Steven McNeal is from Atlanta, GA and attended Cascade United Methodist from 1996 to 2014.  He was active in the Homeless Ministry, New Advent Choir, and Robbins Readers. From March of 2012 to June 2014 he was a Student Pastor at East Point First Mallalieu United Methodist Church where he was over the Youth and Young Adult Ministry.  He graduated from the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC for short) May 10, 2014 with a Masters in Divinity concentrating in Pastoral Care and Counseling.  On June 9, 2014 he was accepted into the CPE Residency Program for Chaplaincy at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.  Currently Steven McNeal is working toward becoming an ordained elder in the UMC here in South Carolina and is an active member at Silver Hill Memorial United Methodist Church and teaches the adult Sunday School, and is the director of Christian Education.

In his spare time he is an avid football fan and loves the Chicago Bears.  He writes stories and loves riding his bike around the community.  He has a sister Sandra McNeal who lives in New York, and a brother Sam McNeal Jr., who lives in Oklahoma.  His mother Sara McNeal lives in Atlanta, GA still and they speak twice a week.
